This family spent many years in a dated house dreaming about one day making it their own. The time finally came when the vision was put to paper. The house was completely gutted and rebuilt to reflect their modern and clean aesthetic while also updating all the antiquated infrastructure.
Architect: Tabarly Stewart
Doing a complete house renovation can be very costly. In our experience the most economical path is to redesign the interior space while maintaining the existing exterior footprint. The architect and homeowners found creative layout solutions that resulted in what feels like a new house even though we didn’t alter or expand the existing square footage.
Originally this house was worked on by the homeowner, who’s primary goal seemed to be to execute as cheaply as possible sacrificing quality, functionality and most importantly any regard for aesthetics. Part of the joy of this job was the chance to exploit the talents of our carpenters who took great pride in the execution of so many custom wood details.
